Daniel began his service in the U.S. Army Reserve as a Military Police officer, rising to the rank of Staff Sergeant over a decade. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan, earning the Bronze Star Medal and numerous other military honors for his bravery and leadership in challenging combat operations.

After his military service, Daniel joined the New York City Police Department (NYPD), where he quickly stood out for his dedication and effectiveness. As a Neighborhood Coordination Officer, he built strong community relationships, and later, as a member of the elite Emergency Service Unit, he handled critical, high-risk situations with skill and courage. Throughout his career, Daniel has been honored with multiple awards, including four Meritorious Police Duty awards and nine Excellent Police Duty awards, reflecting his ongoing commitment to the safety and well-being of New York City’s residents.
